The challenge

SoFi at Work’s mission hinges on building trust and engagement between employers and employees. Financial literacy is a personal and often sensitive topic, so the delivery had to be seamless, secure, and interactive. As the program scaled to hundreds of employers, SoFi needed a platform that could not only accommodate their growing volume of webinars but also support real-time engagement and provide insight into performance, without overburdening their internal team. They also needed a solution that would enable co-branded experiences for partners, streamline communication through automated registration emails, and support both live and on-demand access to accommodate busy schedules.

The solution

With BigMarker, SoFi built a scalable, repeatable framework for delivering live and on-demand webinars to both partner organizations and the broader SoFi community. The team relied on BigMarker’s registration and email automation tools to streamline event setup and communication, including confirmation, reminder, and post-event survey emails. Live sessions were consistently interactive, with audience members participating in real-time chat and submitting questions through the Q&A feature.

This two-way communication helped humanize financial topics and made the sessions feel more like conversations than lectures. On-demand recordings extended the life of each session, allowing attendees to revisit content or catch up asynchronously. SoFi also used BigMarker’s analytics tools to track performance over time, including total registrations, live attendance, and post-event satisfaction surveys, providing ongoing insight into program impact.

Results

Since launching on BigMarker, SoFi has hosted more than 500 webinars reaching tens of thousands of registrants across all sessions. Their average satisfaction score of 4.5 out of 5 reflects the high value attendees place on the content and delivery.

As the program matured, SoFi was able to optimize for efficiency and impact. In 2025, while hosting fewer sessions per month, SoFi more than tripled the average attendance per session, suggesting more targeted programming and increased promotional effectiveness.

The program’s long-term success is also evident in its reach: SoFi’s webinar landing pages have attracted hundreds of thousands of views, helping drive awareness and visibility for the SoFi at Work program.
