What does my subscription include?

Your subscription gives you an account, which we call a channel. You can host an unlimited number of live and on-demand webinars on your channel. BigMarker is a complete online event hosting and marketing solution. It gives you everything you need to create, promote, deliver, automate, monetize and grow your business using webinars and online events.

How does the subscription work?

BigMarker is a subscription-based service, so your plan renews every year. You can cancel your subscription at any time during your plan term to cancel the auto-renewal of your subscription.

What is an attendee? What is a host?

An attendee is a person who attends a webinar or event that you host. If your plan includes up to 1,000 attendees, then 1,000 people can attend your live webinars, and an unlimited number of people can register. A host is a person on your team who can schedule and start webinars. For each plan, there is a specified number of host licenses included, and you can purchase additional host licenses as add-ons.

What is a channel?

A channel is an account where your webinars, events, series, and media hubs live. If you’d like to host a separate set of webinars for a different company, initiative, or content series, you can add other channels as add-ons.

How much storage do I get?

Each subscription includes unlimited live webinars and storage for up to 100 on-demand webinars. You can add more on-demand webinars at any time.

What if I monetize my content? How does selling tickets work?

When people register for a paid event, they must provide a major credit card to secure their spot. You have the choice to use Authorize.net or Stripe as your payment gateway. BigMarker then securely processes payments on your behalf. If you use Stripe, then the proceeds are automatically deposited in your Stripe account. If you use Authorize.net, then proceeds are deposited into your channel treasury, and you can withdraw anytime. BigMarker charges a 5% transaction fee, which covers the costs of credit card networks and payment gateways, and you keep 95 cents of every dollar you make.

How does BigMarker protect my data?

We use industry-standard AES, SSL and HTTPS encryption, just like your bank’s website. We have our SOC 2 certification, and we’re a PayPal and Authorize.net verified merchant. You can find more information about data privacy and protection in our DPA.
