Virtual, Hybrid and In-Person Event Hosting Updates

Introducing: The Hybrid Audience Engagement Solution: Create an equally interactive event experience for your in-person or virtual attendees with our Hybrid Audience Engagement Solution. Our new secondary screen technology allows your attendees to access Polls, Q&A, Handouts and Surveys just by scanning a QR code. This solution is supported with long-range scanning and allows for up to 1,000 attendee scans in one session, so attendees in the front and back rows can participate.

Use Hybrid Audience Engagement to gather attendee input in real-time for:

  • Panel or fireside chat sessions
  • Hybrid roundtable discussions
  • Exhibitor booth presentations

Note: This feature is currently available to Virtual Events and Enterprise plan holders.

Live On-screen Q&A: Gather and project attendee questions on-screen in real-time in your venue throughout your presentation or panel. Moderators can then seamlessly transition to the Q&A portion of your session, then allow the most upvoted questions by the audience to take center stage.

Note: This feature is currently available to Virtual Events and Enterprise plan holders

Vaccination Card Verification Solution: We’ve rolled out a new comprehensive solution for event organizers to manage vaccine card collection, approval and compliance with event vaccination requirements.

Our Vaccination Card Verification Solution allows event organizers to require registrants to upload valid files or images of their vaccination cards and manage the process in a single dashboard, including the following capabilities:

  • Approve or deny vaccine card uploads
  • View and verify the vaccination statuses of all registrants in one location
  • Verify or deny vaccination status of in-person attendees through your own self-check in app on-site

Not sure where to start? Check out our best practices for managing vaccine requirements at events, including tips on how to proactively address legal requirements and safety issues at your event — and develop a strategy for resourcing and executing this process.

Add language translations into your mobile app using RTMP: Add RTMP to your mobile companion app, where you can use multi-streams and language interpretations inside your app and specific sessions.

Most popular customer uses of this feature include:

  • Providing language interpretation for their on-the--go audience
  • Immersing attendees in inclusive language sessions

Note: This feature is currently available to Virtual Events and Enterprise plan holders.

Attendees at your in-person events can connect with each other in seconds via QR code: Eliminate the need to keep track of physical business cards. To connect with another attendees, a guest simply needs to scan the QR code of another attendee, which then sends a connection request that can be accepted and stored in their mobile event app for future reference.

Note: This feature is currently available to Virtual Events and Enterprise plan holders

Save time and staffing with a touchless check-in process for in-person attendees: Attendees can scan their personalized QR code on a tablet device, so they don’t need to looking up their name or check-in directly with event organizers at registration.

Integration Updates and Upgrades

Track and view analytics on external links within the Media Hub: Gather analytics on how many attendees viewed your additional content, clicked on external links  and more in your Media Hub.

New Customizations

Create custom email tokens from custom registration fields: You can now create custom registration fields and custom email tokens that can be included in your attendee emails.

For example, if you are hosting an in-person event with catering, add two custom registration fields, one asking for meal choice and the second asking for any allergies or food sensitivities. Then, create two custom email tokens, which will include each registrant’s answers in their registration confirmation email.

Certificates of Completion are now available for Series and In-Person events: Award your in-person and series-level attendees certificates of completion based on attendance or viewing requirements. Those who attend fully in-person — or prefer to view multiple sessions within the series — virtually can still be awarded certificates to qualify engagement.

Note: This feature is only available to Virtual Events and Enterprise plan holders.
